Snow, then a thaw followed by heavy rain. But last night the snow was back. People woke up to find a fresh layer of the white stuff.
Many schools closed, some like Offwell Church of England School stayed closed. The roads through Offwell were covered in deep snow on top of an ice layer. This morning the village roads where empty of traffic, with only a Royal Mail van out on deliveries.
